Østvendt (Facing East) is a movie about what it is like to be in nature. The movie is filmed during a week in Oslo’s eastern forest in july of 2022. It shows the different impressions and emotions of the forest.

I made some digital art, as well as a painting for Ahmed.

The process of making the painting started with finding a good composition from several reference photos. Then some sketches were made, before the full-size painting was finished.
